Description

PD0104SE/ME HBA provides the user with convenient migration path between conventional (SCSI and IDE) storage technologies and more network oriented Serial ATA based storage. The four Serial ATA port controller with burst throughput up to 600MB/sec and full PCI-X speed bus interface presents an ideal storage solution for High End Workstations. Special Low Profile form factor and connector positioning allows it to be used in the space-constrained enclosures with convenient Serial ATA cable routing.
Proximity Data also provides a range of special interconnect options including High Density Quad connector, External Interconnect with Integrated Power and other High Density interfaces.
PD0104ME version of the HBA is equipped with Storage Array Management Logic under Driver control. With simple API interface this Host Bus Adapter presents powerful Storage Switch Network  management and Enclosure control capabilities.
