Embedded USB Sensor

This Embedded Sensor with USB interface comprises of 32 bit MPU with 16 Mbyte data memory, internal 3-Axis Accelerometer and external, low weight 3-Axis Accelerometers on a very flexible wire bus. Both Accelerometers have adjustable sensitivity from +/- 2G up to +/- 16G and are configurable from PC based Graphical User Interface or command line API. The wired link of the external Accelerometer can be extended up to 12 ft of length, making this system perfect for testing of various products for which the sensor weight and connectivity presented problem before.

This system can also be powered from internal or external rechargeable LiIon single cell battery and function as an Autonomous Data Logger. The data can be then downloaded to the PC and processed for display and interpretation.

The possible applications are limited only by imagination of user and Proximity Data can provide customer specific modifications per request.

Embedded Multi-BUS Sensor

Low Power Embedded Sensor system is built on 8 bit microprocessor platform. It is designed as an USB or battery powered device with 128 Kbytes EEPROM data memory, status indicator and Trigger Button. It has built-in 3-Axis Accelerometer and 3-Axis Magnetometer, I2C and RS232 bus interfaces and 4 Channel Analog input. The data communication link with accessory devise such as the PC is provided through the USB bus or compatible wireless module connected through the RS232 interface.

This device is capable to acquire 256 samples per second from all 10 data channels simultaneously when connected to the PC through the USB bus.

When wireless communication module is in use the full data acquisition and data transfer speed are still provided as long as a sufficient power source is available. The internal LiIon single cell battery rechargeable through the USB power can be used to provide long term data logging and communication capabilities with lowered data sample rate dictated by required operation time and power saving setups.

Wireless Communication Module

The Wireless Communication Module designed by Proximity Data is built on the wireless technology developed by leading wireless communication solution provider.

This module operates either as the ZigBee device or as device with proprietary robust communication protocol. It provides the data transfer capabilities over the distance up to 400 meters (1200 ft) which makes it very attractive for many field sport monitoring or remote sensing application and particularly useful where the human presence is not allowed for a safety reasons.

This Wireless Communication Module is fully compatible with our Embedded Sensor Systems and can be used with any other device that is equipped in RS232 or I2C interface.

Proximity Data has developed other wireless communication devices suitable for Human Network applications operating in sub MHz frequency range. More specific information will be available here as soon as those devices are fully tested and released for volume manufacturing.
